The staircase is manufactured from steel plate, rolled to form the beautiful spiral shape. The brilliant effect of the painted surfaces is achieved using automotive painting techniques and materials. The end result is an elegant element that has the visual appearance of an ”uncoiled ribbon.” Each step is made from mild steel and clad in marble. The entire stairway is painted offsite and then transported in a special jig for installation.
